Join us for the inaugural event of the Center for Teaching the Rule of Law at Roanoke College.
Panelists will discuss recent developments in immigration law including the controversial 2012
DREAM Act granting Deferred Action to certain childhood arrivals and the effects of Deferred Action and similar immigration programs on the community, the workplace, and local families.
Panelists are experts in the field of immigration law and will specifically address the legality
of the executive order and discuss the legal context within which deferred action occurs.
