Assistant Professor of Psychology (Applied)


Roanoke College seeks applicants for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in Applied Psychology (area open) beginning August 2015. The position involves teaching undergraduate courses, research, and college service.  Applicants must be willing and able to teach research methods, statistics, instrumentation/assessment, general psychology, and courses in industrial-organizational, educational, or clinical psychology.  Contribution to Roanoke’s general education program is expected.  Preference will be given to applicants who are willing and able to involve undergraduate students in their research, participate in departmental assessment, grow our student internship program, and attract external funding. Candidates should have a Ph.D. by August 2015.
