Prof. Long has a B.A. from Roanoke College and an M.A. from the University of Virginia

Research & Teaching Interests:

Prof. Long' s teaching fields include Modern Germany, 20th Century Europe, and World War II. He has also done extensive research into the history of Salem and the Roanoke Valley.

Scholarly Activities:

Prof. Long serves as the Director of the Salem Museum and Historical Society.
