Deborah Miranda: Reading, Book Signing, and Reception

Deborah A. Miranda, John Lucian Smith Jr. Professor of English at Washington and Lee University, is the author of "Bad Indians: A Tribal Memoir" (winner of the PEN Oakland Josephine Miles Literary Award), as well as three poetry collections. Her scholarship on California Missions, Native women's erotics, and Two-Spirit issues has been widely published. Miranda is an enrolled member of the Ohlone-Costanoan Esselen Nation of California and has Chumash lineage as well. Please join us in the Pickle Program Lounge at 7:30pm on September 21, 2017.
