Description: Bobby González is a nationally known multicultural motivational speaker, storyteller, author and poet. You say it, he's done it! Born and raised in raised in the South Bronx, New York City, he grew up in a bicultural environment. Bobby draws on his Native American (Taino) and Latino (Puerto Rican) roots to offer a unique repertoire of discourses, readings and performances that celebrates his indigenous heritage and diversity from all backgrounds of life. Bobby has graced the halls of countless prestigious auditoriums, some of which include Yale University, Johns Hopkins University, Carnegie Hall and the United Nations. We are pleased to sponsor his arrival to Roanoke College this November 5th. Please come out to Massengill Hall to hear a man who has traveled down many roads and who comes to share with us his love of all cultures. Doors open at 7pm! Be there!
