The Kandinsky Trio presents “Influencens.” Haydn breathed new life into the piano trio genre, and his style could certainly be felt in Schubert’s treatment of the form. Two works showing each composer at the top of their game will be performed: Haydn’s masterful A flat major Trio and Schubert’s transcendent E flat major Trio. John D’earth’s “Silent Faustus” a piece championed by the Kandinskys will round out the evening.
Tickets are $20 for the general public and $12 for students/children and senior citizens. |
