The second part of a two-term capstone for majorsin Creative Writing, this course draws togetherstudents who have previously written and studiedpoetry, fiction, and perhaps other genres.Discussion will focus on careful reading ofsignificant texts in a variety of genres, periods,and national literatures. In response, studentswill produce orginal work in their chosengenre(s), culminating in the completion of thesenior writing project. (1) 6 hrs/wk.
