An exploration of the common rhetorical principles that are foundational in the fields of Communication Studies, Creative Writing, and Literary Studies. Students will learn the basic rhetorical terminology used in the different fields, and learn to apply them in the critical analysis of a variety of cultural texts from the three points of view.(1) Lecture: 3 hrs/wk.
