Catalog Description:

Provides the prospective physical educator with the physiological, psychological and social bases for engaging in regular physical activity. The emphasis of the course will be on understanding and being able to create and apply key concepts of health related fitness and wellness. Students will be expected to develop individualized physical fitness programs, perform physical fitness assesments, develop activities to enhance physical fitness across the lifespan, and be engaged in a regular physical fitness program.
